Who We Are
Tiv Youth in Diaspora (TYD) is a global, youth-led organisation dedicated to uniting Tiv youth across the world. We exist to preserve our cultural identity, promote leadership, and create opportunities for growth, collaboration, and community impact.
Through our global network, we empower Tiv youth to connect, lead, and contribute meaningfully to both the diaspora and Tiv-land.
What We Do
We create opportunities for Tiv youth globally through leadership development, cultural engagement, and community-driven initiatives that promote growth, connection, and impact.
Leadership Development
We equip Tiv youth with leadership skills, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into impactful leaders across different sectors globally.
Cultural Preservation
We promote Tiv language, traditions, and cultural identity through events, education, and community engagement.
Community Impact
We initiate and support projects that contribute to the development of Tiv communities both in the diaspora and in Tiv-land.
